If you tried to play Single player or Multiplayer and the game seems to iniciated, but it seems that only appeared one black screen or the intro logo, before trying any other solution, wait 30 seconds or half a minute, because in Windows 8 and maybe 10 sometimes it takes his time to start.
If that didn’t work, I would suggest you try the fixes that work in other Windows OS. I think I read something about Windows 10 from other user there. Make the Steam. Copy both files from Steam folder to Call of Duty 2 folder.
Also if you have one device called Stereo, enable it. Connect another microphone or headphone to the computer on the usb port for microphones. Normally it’s called the frontal pannel connector, I think. Put DirectX 7 in options inside de game. Steam has its update and compatibility for Windows 10 already and do it updating for the new windows. It updated all of its files. So in this case, Steam. In order to ensure Cod2 and any other games to work, they must be re-copied again.
Hi all, unfortunately, there is a much worse issue with Windows So far Microsoft has not provided a fix, or commented on this issue. I have had the same issue with Windows Upon start-up of COD2, It looks like it will launch then goes back to your steam library I did restart my computer and steam did give me a message to disable compatability mode etc Tried the steam.
